Pokkle (ポックル, Pokkuru), examinee #53 during the Hunter Exam, was taking his second attempt to pass the Hunter exam.
He is an accomplished archer that carries a bow and shaft of arrows wherever he goes. The arrows are tipped with a potent tranquillizer that, even with a small nick, induces paralysis for any person for up to a week.
Hunter Exam
He was first introduced during the the first phase of the exam where he along with Kurapika and Leorio was encountered by a rampaging Hisoka. In the third phase of the exam he was shown to be knowledgable in engines by fixing the old battleship's steam turbine engine.During the discussion that took place after the end of the Exam, Pokkle had lingering doubts over the way Kurapika had passed the last stage. In fact, he was always wary of Kurapika as he excelled on all aspects of character.Pokkle's aim in life is to become a successful wildlife hunter through obtaining the license.
NGL/Chimera Ant Arc
After the Hunter Exam, Pokkle isn't seen again until the Chimera Ant arc, where he's traveling with several hunters and Ponzu. After defeating several Chimera Ants, Pokkle was paralyzed by Zazan and was taken-in alive for the Queen's later consumption, After regaining his consciousness he manged to hide among the bodies being used for food for the queen, but was later discovered and manipulated by Neferpitou into telling the Chimera Ants about nen. After revealing it to them, Pokkle is killed and eaten by the Queen.

Pokkle's nen ability is called "Rainbow", a bow created from nen that can shoot arrows with the seven different colors of the rainbow. Each arrow has its own attribute. Red arrows burst into flames on contact causing the target to catch fire, while Orange arrows have the fastest speed. The effects of the other colors are unknown
