Menthuthuyoupi (モントゥトゥユピ, Montutuyupī), nicknamed Youpi, is the third of the chimera ant King's royal guard to be born. Youpi is one of the many Hunter × Hunters antagonists in the Chimera Ants Arc. Youpi is the second Royal Guard member to be killed, has his body has been discovered by Pouf. It is unknown how he had been defeated but it is very possible that Welfin had something to do with it.
Background
Menthuthuyoupi is the last of the Meryem royal guard to be born, and like the rest of the royal guard, Youpi was also personal named by the queen like the rest of the Royal Guard. Nothing is known about Menthuthuyoupi past life has human, but however it seems, that Youpi doesn't remember a single thing about his past has human has he told Welfin about it. Youpi is only non-human hybrid among them, mixed with the genes of a magical beast instead.
Personality
Menthuthuyoupi is the most straightforward of the royal guards and possesses a strength that comes from complete selflessness and devotion to the King. He like all of the royal guards would even scarifice them selfs, in order to let the king live. Youpi is the most headstrong, and hot head one of the king's royal guard, has he is seen always in rage during. But Youpi seems to be the most open minded of the three royal guards, has even enjoyed him self when he was fighting the Hunters, and even wonder why he had to kill them. He later sets of to find the king, an ask him about his duty has his guard. But of however he like Pouf was outrage to find the king wounded, and express rage to kill everyone of those humans. Youpi also appears to hold Komugi in low reguard, since the King suffers from memory loss, he and Pouf disscus that the king would be better of if Komugi is dead.
Apperence
Menthuthuyoupi is the least humanoid one of the King's royal guard. Youpi is a heavily muscled human male with no obvious features that mark him as a chimera ant, except for his irregularly shaped ears, legs, and his razor sharp teeth. Youpi is the largest of the Royal Guards, and is the only one that is bare footed.
Combat
Nen Abilities
- Shapeshift: Menthuthuyupi's primary ability allows him to shapeshift into anything he desires, using his monstrous amount of aura. Through this, Yupi can give himself wings, extra eyes and limbs, and even recompose his entire body structure.
- Self destruction: Yupi developed the ability to manipulate his own rage. He first discovered he could build up a large amount of rage and aura, unleashing it all at once in an explosion. Yupi also realized he could control the buildup of rage, as well as channel its location in his body, though the specific applications of this have yet to be revealed. Yupi can transform his body into a grotesque, centaur-like creature. This form bears a helm-like extension on his head, a powerful scythe on his right arm, and a large amoebic sac in place of his left arm that contains his rage.
